FACILITIES AT ZRTI/CH
We are having 4 departmental Model Rooms (Operating, Commercial and ,Mechanical ).
- Transportation Model Room : 24 model stations in 3 wings representing
RRI Panel interlocking; Block Working Through Axle Counter,
Automatic Signaling, Ghat Section
- Air Brake Model Room : Single Pipe and Twin Pipe Air-brake
- Safety model Room : Models of Safety Equipments
- Commercial Model Room : Various Comml. Models & Specimens
One Hindi library, Two departmental (Operating, Commercial) libraries are available in the campus. Around 3000 books are available in the general library and Hindi library (Dr. IQBAL Hindi Library) is having more than 2800 books.
A rail museum has been developed which gives a glimpse into history of railways by way of various models of engine and rolling stock, Charts, Posters and Photos.
One Auditorium having 700 seating capacity is available in the campus. Cultural activities, Seminars, Quizzes etc. which are organized regularly in auditorium.
SPORTS and GYMNASIUM Activity
Facilities for outdoor and indoor games like Cricket, Football, and Volley ball, Table Tennis, badminton, Billiards etc. Sports activities look after by a sports committee which arranges regular sports events of Cricket, Badminton, Football and Athletics. A Gymnasium has been built up with modern daily exercise equipments. Interested trainees and staff do exercise in Gymnasium in morning and Evening.
We are having 4 messes with capacity for around 700 trainees. A Mess Committee comprising of trainee representatives and the office bearers arrange the catering arrangements for the trainees. The mess is on No Profit No Loss basis with the objective to provide wholesome, nutritious, balanced diet to the trainees in a clean environment. At times welfare activities are also taken up by the mess committee. New Seating arrangements, crockery and painting of mess is done recently.
We are having a cultural committee which organized regular cultural events for the recreation and entertainment of trainees. The Committee also looks after the activities in Manoranajan Sadan ranging from upkeep and subscribing to magazines and newspapers.
